Hi there! I'm Kirstie.
I have experience working with clients from many different backgrounds and presentations. I am currently taking on adult clients. I am a friendly and warm therapist who will work with you in a person-centred approach to help you with this phase of your life. My therapeutic approach is adaptable to your needs, with a collaborative approach focused on working towards your goals. I practice evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and elements of others as relevant.
I am comfortable treating a range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, stress, chronic health conditions, alcohol and substance use/addictions, sexual function, emotional issues, relationship issues and interpersonal conflict. I have a particular interest in health psychology (including chronic illness and sexual health). Your mental health and physical health can largely impact each other, as such I like working with clients to address the psychological factors that could be impacting your wellbeing.
I am happy to work with people from all backgrounds and all interests, including non-traditional relationships, and aim to provide a safe place to explore your personal goals.
